wow…. i cant believe some of these people!! One girl actually put that she bought these shoes at Targe?! and this is still up and the other chick has a Juicy Couture Tank LOL I sent her a personal message stating “This item is not vintage.. Juicy Couture was founded in 1997 so this shirt isnt 20+ years old” I also sen the same to Etsy lets see if they taker her down! Makes me angry that people who actually work hard to make their own stuff get buried with crap like this!

According to this closed forums thread, a Chinese jewelry seller copied pics from another Etsy shop for their listings. And they are still open with the ‘borrowed’ photos.

The Target shoes are gone, but all the rest of genuineSkim is still there. Including the clutch from last month.
I noticed that the clutch is listed NWOT… so why does it take Etsy so long to take this stuff down? Their work is done for them. Maybe they are too busy searching for all things steampunk?

Actually, it looks to be true. She really needs to put more information about this in her shop announcement or her profile. According to her blog, she and her husband did move to New Zealand, and she does make them and ships bunches at a time to her brother in PA. She does the listing, and when an item is bought, he ships from his office where they’ve been shipping from for almost a year.

I love callin’ out, and I also love being able to have correct information. It’s so easy to have wrong info out there and misunderstandings and assumptions. In this case, the seller just needs to give us more info to clarify the situation!
