Nothing like admitting you didn’t make your items..

Do people just need read when they sign up that this isn’t a garage sale or a import venue? What about when they go to make the listing with the question “did you hand make this item” and they disregard and still place their items in the handmade categories to make the REAL artisans of Etsy get lost in the listings.

*****KhaoSanRoad Thai Fisherman Pants

Unless it’s a Native American doing ceramics in Portugal…

Yep, just pulled all of my artwork off this site–Etsy only highlights those sites that have the glossy magazine look, and who are so obviously not handmade. So sad, but it’s motivating me in another direction, which is good. Etsy will turn into another ebay before too long, as more and more artists figure out it’s turned into a scam.

Um, etsy has shops that sell vintage items and supplires as well. Such is the case with my shop, mentioned here-predicthepast. Mine is specifically a vintage shop, I have never insinuated it was anything else. Yes, I admit it, NOTHING in that shop is made by me. Do your research before you complain!
