Duplicate Shops, Shilling & Copyright Oh My!

2 Oct

I can’t figure it out but why on earth do you need 2 shops selling the same things?
This is another case of shilling. So far the shilling has been more on the Ebay side but they have a shop on Etsy:
jewelsbyknr http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6747768

Do not buy from ebay seller “Jewels by KNR”! http://www.diamondring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73310

Copyright image from the first Sookie Stackhouse Trueblood book and was on the front page.

BTW, what exactly is the “warning label” logo in all her pictures? Nowhere in her profile does it talk about that name..

YuraPockylover mentions another etsy site but not craftingwithlove–so possible neither makes it.

I was about to use one of their jewelry pieces in a treasury. Silly me…

The Warning Label bag has already been on the FP, on Oct. 1. It was an Etsy curated collection, of course.

There are names all over the etsyhkstore photos, like pink kiki, and when you google them – guess what you find!

Oh, c’mon. PIF my ass. Look at the shipping. Idiot.

  11. Keeping It Real October 5, 2009 at 10:18 am #

Boy, pulling the same shipping scam as they do on Ebay for the “PIF”! PIF abuse, too! Pathetic………..

  12. Lindsey October 5, 2009 at 11:31 am #

can’t flag for the PIF thing because pifs aren’t covered in the TOU.

But, you could flag for having mature content without having a warning/non-mature pic for the first pic.

  13. Keeping It Real October 5, 2009 at 11:45 am #

I flagged as excessive shipping costs! You never know!

The clothing store is gone now. I’d be more enthusiastic about it, but they’ll be back.

The moodlites are back on the front page agaaain….

  16. CMOM October 6, 2009 at 10:36 am #

I saw them too. How annoying.

  17. crazy cat lady October 6, 2009 at 6:20 pm #

OMG – half that shop is “PIFs”!! They had some stuff I would have hearted too, but please. And then in the description it goes on about “do something nice for someone else…” bullshit.

I wonder if they can be reported for skirting etsy final value fees?

  18. Kirsi October 6, 2009 at 11:24 pm #

I love this one http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15937039 “Has chips as seen in photo.”

“I wonder if they can be reported for skirting etsy final value fees?”

    I would think so.

I could sue her for using my body without permission!

I could send that stupid “velvet art ” for $4.50. It makes me sick because the people who offer and buy PIFs should do it with goodness in mind not greed!

I am putting an Elvis (velvet art) hex on it!
