If you look at her 26 negatives in her feedback, 9 are from the last month alone…BUYER BEWARE!

Even the older feedbacks state that many items are either broken on arrival or fall apart after the first use or even wash. Well… yes… that is why we prefer HANDMADE to cheap glued crap from China!

And check out the feedback – on November 11 both she and hotroddesigns (who is also in Victoria TX) have a flurry of wonderful things to say about what they’ve bought in each other’s shops.

    Funny that.

It looks like she resells stuff she buys from the same wholesale source that Target uses…Target charges more for this stuff than she does, so she’s not paying retail.

She is also attempting to pass off children’s melamine utensils
as handmade. Actually it’s made by a company called Mud Pie. and sold on Amazon and Bed, Bath and Beyond
among other retailers as part of a set.

Sheesh, what a shameless faker this one is!

Oh, someone already noticed the shilling. Can’t view the items bought by hotroddesigns, but the items ashlee bought from hotrod were bought the same day feedback was left.

I hope to God that if I were a reseller I would be a little more cautious than going to a nationally known retail store and reselling their items as mine!

It’s like sneakin around on my husband and going to the motel 6 around the corner. How could she be so stupid. At least get them overseas to resell. God..our resellers our becoming pretty gutsy as well as blatant. Like throwing it in our faces because they know that Etsy turns a blind eye!

Good Lord ! Where have all the creatively deceitful thieves gone. Wake up Etsy!

Wow, yeah. Look at that feedback on 9/11. Purchased 20 items from the same shop in the same town, and both left stellar feedback on the same day as the sale. If they aren’t the same person, they must be sisters or best buddies.

    This makes me so sick!

yes, it is more than irritating that Etsy cannot control this.

But the fact that people are ripping other people off is truly disgusting.

    These folks are back:

Guess it’s true that if you have the Etsy-approved backgrounds and photography style, admin won’t bother looking at the actual item!

The real shame is that many of her dissatisfied customers were new to Etsy when they purchased from her. This is hardly the kind of shop that leaves a good first impression for the community 😦

This is awful. Especially the neg saying this was their first purchase on Etsy and it fell apart. I’ve been getting new -to -Etsy buyers every day and I try to make their experience as nice as possible. Way to reflect badly on us all. Grrrr

    Another shit reseller:

It’s impressive that HKClothesr can list 350 items on Etsy during business hours in Brooklyn with no problem. Resellers don’t need to wait until the weekends or early AM in the ET zone to set up shop with a fairly large inventory.

I guess the Etsy staff are busy discussing their shopping plans for the weekend and swapping cooking stories. They seem to have forgotten about the legit handmade clothing sellers who are waiting for admin to get that load of stuff out of there so they can list.

Or maybe Etsy staff are ooohing and aaahing over the catalog photos? Complete with text showing the brand.

What is actually wrong at Etsy? How can this be happening?

    Dildo reseller

  16. Freckleyredhead November 24, 2009 at 12:43 pm #

HK clothes are gone. I think Etsy keeps an eye out for that one.

  17. MadebyM**** November 24, 2009 at 2:56 pm #

Gern….were you calling them a dildo or were they selling dildos? LOL!

  18. GernBlanston November 24, 2009 at 5:56 pm #

They were selling glass dildos for cheap $10. I think most glass dildo artists would agree that is way low for handmade.

AshleeBonapartel is gone too! Yay, ECO!
