“Some of our items are shipping from the United States. Those items shipping from Turkey to Europe is about 1 week.” Never mind – it’s “vintage”.

Please explain this one to me – I don’t get it – and I doubt it’s handmade:
“Welcome to our shopping network for Supastar Company Clients who enjoy the brands “Supastar Clothing” and “R.Michel’le Couture”! This shopping network was deisgned for our consumers to buy at 50% off original prices!” “For our main site for more info on the brands go to:”

Supastar’s profile: Is that a special language from LA?

OMG..That profile IS something else. I love the No refunds, no exchanges etc. Hmmm so much for Etsy’s customer service! Good find!

You can’t access the clothing on the Supastar site without a reseller’s password and maybe a cookie on your computer.

Her company offers modeling, stylist service, and a bunch of other stuff. She is the designer and CEO. No way she and her girls are sewing the clothes. But…that may be okay according to the Etsy rules (or should I say ‘Esty’). If you can have an outside source make pottery or metal from molds you designed, why can’t a seller outsource the fabrication of garments they designed?

I suspect that “Sonaa” is connected with this company (the wording in the product descriptions is the same):

I really like supastar’s ‘cow neck’ dress here:

A non-reader’s error. Like ‘kulaks’ for coulottes — I really did see this one in a listing for a 90s spilt skirt being sold as vintage on another venue (not Etsy). Or the new pronunciation in advertising (radio and teevee) for ‘mirror’ is now ‘meer’. Expect that one to show up in listings fairly soon. The internet is full of listings for ‘elfs’ and ‘an antique knive and fork’ or ‘a vintage scarve’.

But Supastar should have made the cow neck a long dress, and called it a moomoo.

‘But Supastar should have made the cow neck a long dress, and called it a moomoo.’

    *snerk*
Good one! I always twitch at ‘sell’ for ‘sale’, myself.
On the subject of errors, I keep reading ‘Supastar’ as ‘Superpasta’. Maybe it’s time for lunch.

They wre trying to inseart a widget or something in their profile and because Etsy doesn’t allow links to other places (except within their own site) it shows up as that! Didn’t they notice?

Kristen..I nosed around her shop blog. She is a weary travelor. Vagabond shipping out of Hong Kong. Heading to MA from (?) She either didn’t say or I forget.

She collects items from her world travels and she just did a show with 85% handmade felt goods and the other 15% are wonders. (Her words)

So I would venture to guess those gels that you have listed are the weary, against regulation wonders….ugh

oops those gels that you have posted……YIKES sorry

Sometimes, I also weep for Etsy buyers. Because let’s be honest… all those resellers would not be making a buck if there weren’t buyers who really didn’t care about handmade…

Can’t *wait* to start selling again in March. Especially since my leather bags will actually be handmade… and with a price tag to match. 😉

I’d really like to know where she gets her materials for those “Gel Stick” things.

She says she uses: cute, Japanese, flower, sticker and home decor. Man, she must have one super source for that stuff!

I purchased a dress from her that still had a care label inside, this is one she is saying she hand made. I looked up the RN number on the tag to find that it is registered under Forever 21
