5 Business Cards for $50 What a steal …of someone’s money.

Why give business cards away for free when you can sell them?

Aside from the fact that these are totally inapproriate to sell on Etsy… who sells business cards? And who is crazy enough to buy them?

I know that there are people who collect business cards, specifically those of design firms who change up their card design frequently.

But I’m just not sure where a cat fancier fits into that niche market. Or why someone would think $50 was a great price for getting a lead from a dubious business card instead of just, you know, using the intertron.

This seller was also featured on Regretsy for the paperclip on a string necklace. This person is not a real seller, crafter, etc. They are making fun of some of the garbage that is sold on Etsy.

Notice how feedback was left on the necklace the SAME DAY that necklace was purchased. wtf?!

That stinks of shilling to me.

This is is just ridiculous! No need to buy the cards because they’ve taken pics of them. Just blow the picture up and the info is already there. You’re a jackass if you do buy these…

“I now have a wonderful little museum quality unicorn in my possession. ”

WTF? A box with a horn is museum quality?

This looks like a joke to me. If it’s not, that person is mentally ill.

It’s a 2 year old “collectible”………..give me a break! If they were business cards from the 1930’s, then I could see it……

I wonder what the paperclip necklace sold for…

  11. blablover5 December 14, 2009 at 3:12 pm #

^ If I remember right it was just $5.

If you would like a paperclip necklace for yourself you can go to the sellers blog. My daughter sent them a message and they sent her one for free! They have a great sense of humour and as I said previously they put things on Etsy to make a point about the amount of ‘garbage’ listed. It is not a serious shop.

    I love that shop!

At first I said WTF, but then saw that it was satirical and love their humor.

Their was a thread about them somewhere… closed threads maybe?

Joke or no joke it still sucks for sellers and encourages people to do the same or mislead others to consider etsy more of an ebay sort of thing
