I didn’t check out all her crap, but all her bridal sashes are from here:

Update: Received this from seller-

I’m writing to you to kindly ask that you remove the post about my store.
My photos were stolen from this company they have also stolen photos from DreamCatcherStudio on Etsy –
Here’s a link to their store –
They have stolen photos from the popular headband designer Jennifer Behr as well –
I have tried emailing them several times to have my photos removed but they refuse to do so.
My shop was shut down by Etsy today, so I’m now in the process of trying to get it back up and running and trying to prove that my photos were indeed stolen.
I really hope that this clears this whole thing up and I can get my good name back :o)
Please let me know if you have any questions or advice.

Just found this one today. User resells commercial jewelry, even tags the items as being store bought commercial items.

Take a look: – Hang tag says H&M – MONET – Forever21

– Forever21

I can’t seem to open that supply site but, the etsy shop is now empty???

  2. WangFu November 17, 2010 at 12:51 pm #

How is a light bulb a supply? This seller was on the front page with a brand new set of XMas lights that sold just now. Those are not supplies either. A seller with 1800+ sales ought to know better.

  3. Life During Wartime November 17, 2010 at 1:53 pm #

They are not specifically holiday lighting. You can buy them all over the web, year round. Other shops selling them on Etsy, too:

I flagged a bunch of them last year when Etsy kept featuring them, not just for winter holidays but right thru Easter. Did absolutely no good.

  4. Maul November 17, 2010 at 2:30 pm #

Congrats to SewnNatural, who as of last week has been featured over 300 times on the Etsy front page! Keep up the good work with those unique felted acorns!

Lets see if we can find more members of the 300 club!

My Big Fat Stuffed With Spam Abusive Title, on the FP now:

  6. ThisEtsyChick November 17, 2010 at 3:25 pm #

And another KABOOM for the Etsy Staff!! Featured Seller:

Tag stuffing violations like crazy! A few examples:

Discouraging, to say the least. Surprising? Oh hell no!

  7. Maul November 17, 2010 at 4:15 pm #

More congratulations are in order to front page darling Xenotees, who recently passed 300 front page appearances! Xenotees’ three appearances today put them at 319 times total!

  8. JoJoy November 17, 2010 at 4:39 pm #

I am so over the stupidity…

    1. today i saw the same damn dog trench on the front page 2 times… saw it the other day also… enough already.
    2. the lightbulbs- WTF? I do know people that make those by hand- but obviously these ones aren’t as the seller even SAYS she just “had to buy them”
    3. xenotee is obviously doing well enough that they really don’t need to be featured on the front page AGAIN… all i can think about these treasury teams is that they are a greedy bunch of mo-fo’s!
    4. treasury teams suck. and etsy sucks for promoting such elitist snobbery. which leads me to mention once again… don’t buy from exclusive treasury teams.

  9. Aimee J November 17, 2010 at 4:50 pm #

The sash lady- why is her shop empty?
Do you think she just buys the pre-beaded stuff you get at a designer fabric shop and then stitched THAT onto a ribbon?

  10. sick of cupcakes November 17, 2010 at 5:35 pm #

What’s with all those damn buntings all over the FP every day? Do people actually hang them in their homes?

Oh and why stick GlitzGlitter on my fp under my “You Might Like” items? Like I didn’t see enough of her stuff the 188 times she’s been on the fp this year.

  11. um no November 17, 2010 at 6:38 pm #

    Screw you, Etsy.

  12. Maul November 17, 2010 at 6:46 pm #

Aw, poor GlitzGlitter has only been on there 188 times? That means she still has a ways to go before she can join the elite 300 club.

Enough dwelling on sadness, lets celebrate some other members of The 300 Club! Join me in a round of applause for JealousyDesign, whose jewelry has been featured on the front page 308 times. But don’t be jealous, you just haven’t earned the right to be on the front page like she has!

Also joining JealousyDesign is the ThePeachTree, who is perhaps better known for being best buds with Etsy staff Daniellexo than for her jewelry. ThePeachTree proved she had what it took to be on the front page last year when she bought a t-shirt for Daniellexo. This sweet peach certainly deserves the 317 times she’s made it to the front page!

  13. Lisa November 17, 2010 at 7:57 pm #

You know, looking at the Forever21 jewelry, I really don’t feel sorry for the buyers who are disappointed. Do you truly expect a handmade piece for $3.75???? Yuk !

  14. Holly November 17, 2010 at 8:42 pm #

Wow Etsy is starting to look like Walmart

come on I can buy this shit anywhere. How is that a supply to make a craft?? Come on.

  15. kirsten November 18, 2010 at 2:21 am #

Hello! I am the owner of the website KIRSTENKUEHNDESIGNS and wanted to let you know that the website you listed actually STOLE my photos, I have no association with them. I have been trying to get my photos removed from their website, but they won’t budge.

I hope this clears things up :o)

  16. sick of cupcakes November 18, 2010 at 3:26 am #

Holly, I’d rather shop at walmart. Those actually look like dollar store lights…

  17. The Unknown Etsian November 18, 2010 at 6:53 am #

Well, Kirsten, why are you providing new pictures for your shop? Why are there no items for sale?

  18. The Unknown Etsian November 18, 2010 at 6:53 am #

Sorry! That should be why AREN’T YOU PROVIDING.

  19. megansbeadeddesigns November 18, 2010 at 10:17 am #

Wow, I’m always surprised that the call-outs come in and attempt to defend themselves in here. I’m surprised they know about this blog? Interesting…

  20. JoJoy November 18, 2010 at 10:52 am #

and today- ArtHistory is on the front page… AGAIN… totally sick of seeing the same Sh*t day after day-
and that same damn spoon print by petek… I saw it yeasterday- do I need to see it again today?
and if I see the fork tee shirt one more time I just might have to stick a fork in my eyes.

  21. JoJoy November 18, 2010 at 10:54 am #

as far as kirsten goes- there are a LOT of shops that are having their pictures stolen by over seas mfg’s…
but- what i really want to know is if kirsten hand beads ALL of those items herself. or is she buying the trim and then adding it to the sash?

  22. megansbeadeddesigns November 18, 2010 at 11:08 am #

I didn’t know people even did that when I first started selling until I was asked, “Did you you really hand bead that headband? Really?” I was like, “Of course, why else would I say that in the description?” Oh to be naive again… I’ve had to raise my prices a little because too many assumed that it was already created trim just glued on, not the bead embroidery that take me hours to make.

  23. Thomas November 19, 2010 at 1:03 am #

Hi,everyone, I contacted ETSY support about estycallout and other shit guys who are blaming us yesterday, here is their answer:

Thank you for contacting Etsy Support. It seems that you’re referring to a blog or website which is unaffiliated with Etsy. I am sorry for the harassment you’ve received on this outside site, but it is not an official Etsy resource. Please let us know if you have any other questions about Etsy.”

ETSY’s answer testify these shit guys and women’s accusation are illegal. You have nothing do with ETSY.

So, get fucked off wordpress blog, Bitch etsycallout , You are crimimals who pretend to be innocent and official ETSY staff to make comments and accusation of legal ETSY sellers.

  25. Catish November 19, 2010 at 10:44 am #

Where does it say that anyone here is pretending to be official ETSY staff ? Ah… I should know better, don’t feed the trolls…

  26. Fed Up November 19, 2010 at 11:21 am #

Thomas – LOL – do you not understand that this is a blog? Not related to Etsy. No one here is criminal, if anything, they are exposing criminals. And I don’t know who you are, but your name goes to – which is a wholesale site. Awww, are you a pissed off reseller? How cute.

  27. jenjasmine November 19, 2010 at 1:33 pm #

  28. Fed Up November 19, 2010 at 2:39 pm #

Okay Thomas, at first I felt almost bad for you – like you don’t speak English and didn’t understand the rules. Then I went back and saw the thread all about you – and now I realize you are full of copious amounts of shit.

You KNOW the rules, but you get upset when someone points out that you are breaking them?! LMAO. You’re a piece of work honey.

following are what detroit commented about me ahead of my comments about you:

    November 19, 2010 at 11:00 am

Well Thomas, are all Chinese as professional, courteous, and as intelligent as you? If so, your country is in trouble.

Seems like you have an inferiority complex with respect to the US! lol. You need to take your little bitty 小弟弟, and go cry to your Mum that a US company won’t let you break their rules! Boo hoo”

Dear every one, Do you know what “小弟弟” means in Chinese Slang? here I translate it into English :”Penis”
Dear every one, Do you know what “肏你祖宗十八代” means in Chinese? Here I translate it into English: ” Fuck you 18 generations of your family”

Dear every one, please read this blog from the beginning, Did I commented detroit in a unfriendly way initially before he made the first insulting comment about me?

    detroit and etsycallout:

We are a registered company in China, We have registered business number, office address, contact number even my Chinese name in my website.
We are responsible for what We say and We do.
    But I have to ask:
    etsycallout, detroit,
Who are you? what is your identification? what is your true name?
Who autherized you to use “etsy”‘s name to publish blogs about etsy sellers?
Who give you rights to accuse etsy sellers?
Who give you rights to judge etsy sellers with your own “rules”
furthermore, do you have any certificates of distincting ” true handmade items” from ” fake handmade items” issued by any official or folk institutes in US or in any other countries?

Esty’s statement do testify that “estycallout” has nothing do with esty company and etsy website, nevertheless, etsy also apologized to us for your harrassment caused to us .

Etsy closed our store as we requested today, We abide by Etsy’s rules, no matter whether it’s decision is correct or wrong.
    We respected etsy’s decision.

    but for you guys,
    detroit and etsycallout,
I am sure You are illegal!
If you are legal, why don’t you guys don’t publish your names, identifications? why only use your anonymous web names?

Why don’t guys make statements on your blog like this:”
We are XXX and XXX, this is a personal blog, which has nothing to do with etsy website and etsy company, We we publish is our personal comments, We are not liable for liability of infringement of laws and privacy, We are not responsible for any insulting and harrassments to anybody!”

    November 21, 2010 at 12:36 am

    Dear all,
So, If you etsycallout guys can’t testify you are not illegal.
You guys not only infringes Etsy’s intellectual property rights by ” use “Etsy” word on your “Etsycallout ” blog, You guys also infringes other sellers’s privacy and rights.
Besides, Did any customers authorized you guys to make gossips on any sellers? No.

    My conclusion:
Neither Etsy, nor any official insistitues, nor any customers authrozied you to do this illegal gossip job,
So, What you guys are doing now is doing evil and committing crimes!
    Did you guys realized it?

I can bet someday, if you guys publish your identifications, Etsy company, any honest seller sure will sue you guys on US courts and get you guys punlished by US laws to get justice for the Etsy users both sellers and buyers.

    November 21, 2010 at 12:53 am

    Dear all,
I am wondering why etsycallout guys are so angry about us and other sellers on etsy and make rumours around.
Here is my answer after considerable thinking and investigation:
    1. these etsycallout guys are the true resellers and sellers of fake handmade items on etsy. I read many of their comments on their blogs, they are also etsy sellers. they are in US.
So, why they are so afraid of sellers in China and other countries out of China?
    as everyone knows:
handmade items or vintage items made in China and other developing countries are much cheaper than in US, actually now nowadays, there are very few handmade items and vintage items are made in US, because of very high cost of human labor.

So these guys purchased many items on Alibaba and Tao and other websites, which are made in China, and then list them on etsy to cheat customers they handmade those items.

But the true makers of the those items find this way to sell they items on etsy. and flood in to sell their own handmade items.

So, this becomes the disaster and nighmares of these etsycallout guys, because direct sellers in China and other countries compete direclty with these etsycallout guys, these etsycallout guys will surely be defeated, and lose their business.
So they find wordpress, this free and anonymous blog to attack the real sellers on etsy. at the same time, in case that they will be caught and prosecuted by laws for their crimes, they hide their names and identifications.

    November 21, 2010 at 1:14 am

You bitch cheater, criminal, real reseller,
why you are so angry with me?
Why you don’t dare to use English to insult me, instead using ” Chinese”?

    Now I found reasons:
    1. You surely are a Chinese American , if you are an American citizen, You probably are one of Stowaways without Ameican ID.
So you even know the worst slang of cursing in Chinese.

    2. You puchased huge lots of items in Alibaba and Taobao and sell them on etsy, So you are very familar with items on those websites, once a true sellers comes on etsy, you found them and start to blogging , commenting and cursing them.

    3. if you are such a Amerian with your Ancestor in China, I am sure every Chinese will whip you this stupid pig, and every Good Chinese man feel shamed of you.

4.Besides you, there are some other active etsycallout guys seems to be Chinese origin.

Why you guys don’t feel shamed what you are doing now?
Why We can’t call you guys criminals and bitches after you shit guys insulted me, even we initially are very polite to you?

    5. The last words, I give you these guys:

Get fuck off Etsy and your damned Etsycallout!!!! don’t destroy Chinese’s reputation and etsy’s reputation !!
otherwise, every honest and brave Chinese and American will fuck you off!!!

  30. Fellow Etsian November 28, 2010 at 5:36 pm #

Kristen Kuehn’s designs are not handbeaded by HER. They are Asian imported rhinestone beaded trims that can all be found in the NYC Garment District’s trim supply stores.

As for Thomas trying to pass off his items as “handmade”….having worked as a designer in the NYC Garment industry I can tell you that the many Chinese have ZERO business ethics. They will lie, cheat and steal to make a dollar ( or yuan). I have seen some of the most blatant acts of stealing and knocking off that you can imagine. Selling designs prior to hitting the stores to competitors…lying about carcinogenic dyes being used in fabric dye…even hiding child labor when we visited the factories in mainland China…it was insane. Thomas…mass produced items are not considered ” hand made” in the US…sorry. Also EtsyCallout seeks to preserve the lifeblood of Etsy…and that includes keeping Asian ( and any other country) manufacturer resellers off of it.
