UprootedShop, gardensecrets, missindie

16 Dec

A bizarre mistagging shop- http://www.etsy.com/people/UprootedShop
They sell t-shirts but this listing http://www.etsy.com/listing/64145855/uprooted-peace-white-large has the tags “furniture, storage, bench, bed, chair, dresser, fixture, storage, table, yard”

this listing http://www.etsy.com/listing/64095929/uprooted-splatter-black-medium has the tags “shoes, underwear, skirt, dress, swimsuit, children, plus size, sweatshirt, high heels, wrap, applique, jacket”

this listing http://www.etsy.com/listing/64091036/uprooted-monster-white-medium has the tags “bath and beauty, vest, body, fragrance, lip balm, lotion, makeup, scrub, powder”

Every listing in their shop must collectively list every single category on Etsy. Someone really needs to send them a convo. What a jackass.

you readers have been talking about it in the comments already but just so we have it on record here:

sparklepeach has a new shop.  She  closed her shop “sparklepeach” and “dearestclementine” and is still defrauding people: http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=6716585

She has opened a new shop with a new name.  Instead of “Kristen” she is now “Christina”
and another repeat offender..
How many negatives does a shop have to get for Etsy to shut them down?

Or is there no limit, as long as Etsy is making $$$ off a shop, whether it’s a well-run one or not.
Check her out:
and her other shop (which she does not note as her other shop in her profile)…. An Etsy violation of policy…
I know first hand that this seller spends more time pleading with customers who give negative feedback … than she does giving good customer service in the first place.
Always the same story:  Oh, the mail is slow this time of year, I’ve been sick, family problems, internet woes, email difficulties.  Blah blah blah.
Sellers like this  should be jerked upright and told what to do to be allowed to remain on Etsy.
Sellers like this one makes the entire place look like crap.

The tags relate to each other in such a way that it actually looks like the seller merely tried to save a listing fee or time by editing a previous furniture listing and just adding text about the apparel and new apparel photos…..if they really wanted to be listed in every category, they would have diversified the tags even more….

  2. etsycallout December 16, 2010 at 1:25 pm #

previous furniture listing? They are an apparel shop that opened shop SIX DAYS AGO!

I’ll send the douchebags a convo about how to tag properly.

and what the hell is up with this shop? flagged them right after they opened. massive korean clothing reseller, you can see the web info in the photos

How do you know that is the new shop for Purcell? I admit I don’t know all her moves.

lol cupcakes! I think I love you.
BTW, I see Etsy has already removed that awesome feedback from Indie’s bloody list of negatives. Crap, wish the reviewer wouldn’t have used the F-bomb. That must be the ONLY reason Etsy took out that feedback. Anyway, there’s plenty more red negatives to peruse, just effin’ scroll down. Hahaha.

I wonder how Mandy (missindie) manages to get all her negatives removed so fast..

How does all her packages get lost in the mail?

How does she manage to blog and play photographer with all the orders she has?

    1) I’ve actually thought of doing something nefarious like that too. But more along the lines of copying Sparklepeach’s SUPER SIMPLE formula, and seeing if the sales rolled in for me too.

How in the h3LL does she get SO many sales in SO many dysfunctional stores?? Is that for reals? Or is she up to something.

    2) Mittengirl – are you from Michigan? (the mitten state – ya know). Hi from Detroit. If you just make mittens, well, hi then too. lol.

    3) I saw the origin of the duck thing. But I forgot? Something to do with ‘coralgate’. And the people with the duck avatars are protesting the bs that went down. It’s a reference to something…hmm. I’ll look.

  13. Lu December 16, 2010 at 8:02 pm #

The duck thing is a “support” for the seller SanDesign that got muted for coralgate. not sure why the ducks exactly

  14. toastycrackers December 16, 2010 at 9:13 pm #

I swear I had seen Sparkle renew about 7 pages of items in one day, and similar amounts every time I looked. I assumed that with her low prices and decent photos helped her immensely.

But really all that renewing. My face turns red with anger when I see such a shoddy product being shoved in peoples’ faces to that extent.

  15. toastycrackers December 16, 2010 at 9:14 pm #

Oh, and can someone point me to the thread that got San perma muted? I just haven’t been able to get to scoop from anyone.

Please, do share. Or at least give us more specific details 🙂

  16. em December 16, 2010 at 9:38 pm #

Ooh, I wouldn’t mind seeing that thread toastycrackers mentioned.

The ducks are because SanDesign had an avatar with the duck that she changed all the time, so everyone changed theirs to include the same duck/penguin. I thought it was cute, lol. I liked seeing all the ducks.

    detroit says:

I’ve thought about this too. Of course, I stopped there because I (we) have these things called MORALS. lol.

I’ve checked in a few times on her various shops and my guess is that she just renews constantly. I looked in on gardensecrets today and the entire shop (80 items or whatever) had been renewed at the same time (it said like 8 hours ago).

It’s like that every time I’ve seen any of her shops. Everything had been renewed within three days or so, most of it within the same day. I also thought maybe that’s another reason why she ditches her shops – can’t pay her bills. So she doesn’t just make off with her customers’ money, she screws Etsy (I know in the big picture it doesn’t affect them, but it’s just another testimony to her insanity).

  17. PussDaddy December 17, 2010 at 8:16 am #

    Fucking ridiculous.

  18. ohmeohmy December 17, 2010 at 12:12 pm #

Holy crap! You’re right. She renews her shop every day. But she also gets lots of sales so I think she is making a huge profit. Especially because she sells really cheaply made jewelry. Very simple “throw away” stuff.

No wonder she gets so many sales. I was wondering how can she be so successful. With one shop she is probably making about $2000 a month after paying for her renewing, materials and fees.

I think she rips off people because she gets too much business and can’t handle it. Why doesn’t she hire some people? Her stuff is so incredibly simple anyone can do it.

  19. megansbeadeddesigns December 17, 2010 at 12:20 pm #

I think em is right, she probably never pays her Etsy bill.

  20. 1come1n9eace December 17, 2010 at 12:21 pm #

I mean WTF? How do people keep selling?

  21. mittengirl December 17, 2010 at 2:12 pm #

yeah i am in michigan. damn cold and i hate it here.

to all others asking- the ducks are cool. started due to the coralgate mutings of one specific person in particulat, but i have found the ducks are pretty open about speaking out about what is wrong with etsy. not just about the muting.

  22. kitten December 17, 2010 at 8:30 pm #

I was going to say the ducks make it easier to spot the annoying people before they speak.

I have no problem with San though… she used to be really obnoxious and for some reason changed awhile ago and now is/was rather pleasant on the forums.

  23. already gone December 18, 2010 at 3:47 am #

And Missindie is still selling! I don’t get it! While I was at etsy I hadn’t had a sale in months before I left, my customer service is excellent and so is my product! What the hell gives with that place, shitty sellers sell like hotcakes and the reputable ones are being pushed out in droves! And don’t people read a sellers feedback, or even look at the percentage of good before moving on to someone else? It’s like the Twilight Zone over there.

  24. already gone December 18, 2010 at 4:01 am #

Oh, look at this! I was looking at the members of a team that Missindie belongs to and I also found this seller who apparently does offer good customer service, for some of the same items, (pictures too), and at higher prices. What do you suppose this is all about?
That’s the only exact match but the similarities are too eerie to be coincidence.

  25. wondering December 18, 2010 at 10:06 am #

  29. 1come1n9eace December 18, 2010 at 2:42 pm #

@already gone, that shop: beautifulbridget.etsy.com is the mother of missindie.
MissIndie also hosts another shop: headthreadz.etsy.com
And she does NOT disclose this in her profile information. Yet another violation of Etsy rules.

  30. 1come1n9eace December 18, 2010 at 2:43 pm #

    Sorry didn’t link it correctly…
    MissIndie = asshole = http://headthreadz.etsy.com
Even suckier feedback than Indie, if that’s possible.

  31. Sydney December 18, 2010 at 4:49 pm #

missindie is a just a little girl who *wants* to have a business.

I’ve personally dealt with her, and how the hell she continues to get business, I honestly do not know.

She is a liar and a thief.

  32. 1come1n9eace December 18, 2010 at 5:16 pm #

Sydney, same here. I am still reeling in disbelief than anyone on earth would ever throw money her way!
She is a loser, a psycho, and doesn’t even have a *day* job. Nice little blog, though, about how BUSY she is with filling all her orders, etc.

  33. Sydney December 18, 2010 at 5:50 pm #

Do you know how much money she owes me? $67 (because I bought a purse 3 months ago)(oh, and sent it back, with DC and proof it was delivered)

    And Paypal won’t do shit.

I’m in utter disbelief that she thinks that even for a moment she’s a good person.

  34. 1come1n9eace December 18, 2010 at 5:53 pm #

OMG Sydney… That’s awful. Why won’t PayPal step in?
I hope you gave her the feedback she deserves.

  35. Sydney December 18, 2010 at 6:29 pm #

I did.. and of course, she showed her true colors in the feedback she left for me..

And, of course, she got Etsy to remove mine, so I had to keep bugging E and they finally removed it as a “courtesy”.

Paypal wouldn’t step in because it was past the 45 day limit – but I did file a claim within the 45 days, she *finally* wrote back to me saying it was lost in the mail and she’d remake it.

The photos gave the purse more justice than it deserves, it was the biggest letdown, and so I sent it back.

You have her name and you know where she lives. I think I’d be on the phone filing a report with the Springfield, Missouri PD for theft. I know there’s some agency that deals with internet fraud – it’s been posted many times on the forums – but don’t recall, maybe someone else knows?

Contact the Missouri Attorney General’s office and I believe they can help you.

  38. imwithya December 19, 2010 at 12:48 pm #

Just shameful. Look at the recent feedback for gardensecrets from a new buyer who says they will never again shop on Etsy. How can she keep doing this again and again?! It’s unbelievable.

A little while ago I came across a video on youtube titled “My handmade goodies” and clicked on it to see if it was by chance an Etsy seller. I was shocked to discover it was made by Kristina/gardensecrets! And she has a channel full of videos, mostly about her trying to lose weight (which is great).

At first I didn’t want to post the link here because after watching a few of the videos I honestly felt bad very for this girl who seems to be caught in cycle of depression and not being able to follow through on any of her own goals. But you know what? She needs to get her shit together and NOT open up one more fucking shop until she gets some help!

The fact that gardensecrets is already going down in a flame of negatives just pisses me off. Really, I am sorry that this woman has personal problems but stealing people’s money over and over again has GOT TO STOP. Come on Etsy, find a way to block repeat offenders!!

Also, posting videos that reveal way too much about your personal issues along with ones that link to your business is not the greatest idea.

  39. Christine December 19, 2010 at 12:55 pm #

Can anyone explain to me why Etsy would remove the negative feedback left for missindie? Does she just ask nicely? If negative was left for non-delivery or shoddy goods then others need to know that. Why do they remove it?

  40. 1come1n9eace December 19, 2010 at 1:23 pm #

Christine, she knows how to whine… and she plays her disgruntled customers with a “pity me” ploy. Here’s her tactic: First of all Missindie withholds ALL of her own feedback for customers until after she receives feedback from a particular shop. It’s how she bargains.
    It’s like this:
You leave me negative feedback, and I’ll leave you negative.
You leave me positive feedback, and I’ll leave you positive.
After having friends who have dealt with this unethical seller, I know first-hand that she routinely sends disgruntled customers a pseudo-heartfelt, friendly, pleading email asking customer to please alter that negative and make it a positive. Probably has a reason, something like: family problems, email glitches, computer issues. I’ve seen it happen times before. She isn’t just breaking the rules, she is nuking them all to hell!

  41. Sydney December 19, 2010 at 1:40 pm #

here is an excerpt from the convo-thread I had with her (it starts from the bottom):

No problem, I’ll let you know as soon as it gets here.
I just sent the Kiss and Make Up, is there any way that you could please complete it so that we both can receive positive feedback?
    Thanks so much!

    by sydney

I have sent back the purse this morning, here is the delivery confirmation number:

    *blah blah blah*

The Postman said the expected delivery date should be on Saturday, Nov 20th.

If you could issue the refund to my boyfriends paypal when you get it back, that’d be great.

Thank you for getting a hold of me – Sydney

    by missindie

    Dear Sydney,

Thank you for your patience in my reply, I would have written back sooner but got sick and haven’t been able to be at my computer for a few days.

I am very sorry you are not happy with everything, I honestly don’t know what to say about the size of the bag as that is the size I always make it and is the same size it is in the photos. But I don’t want you to be unhappy with your item and can either offer a 50% refund and have you keep the bag since you waited so long for it or I can have you send it back and give a full refund, please let me know what you’d like to do. Also, could you please remove the negative you left for me? I did make a replacement bag at my own expense when the first one got lost which I thought had taken care of the problem, was there something else I could have done to avoid the feedback you left me? Please, I am begging you to remove the negative as it is very damaging and my business is everything to me. I use the extra money I make on Etsy to put myself through community college and can’t afford to have my business ruined, I would be more than happy to do what I can to make this a happy transaction for you. Please let me know your thoughts, thank you.

  42. Christine December 19, 2010 at 2:14 pm #

1come1n9eace, I have dealt with people like that but it still isn’t clear to me how she gets Etsy to remove negatives.

If a customer falls for her routine and does a kiss and make up that’s one thing but if, for example, I deal with her, don’t get my product and leave her a negative that negative is staying. She can leave me a negative if she wants I don’t really care. If however, Etsy then goes in and removes my negative that’s just wrong. My negative was there as not only a way to say what I need to say but also serves as a warning to other buyers. If Etsy takes it away because the bitch whines a bit than that is wrong and doing a disservice to the buyers who come after me. Why would they do that? Is she giving them a kickback?

  43. 1come1n9eace December 19, 2010 at 2:19 pm #

Christine, who knows? Etsy is a total enigma to me.
I do know that psychoindie is very convincing, has a way to garner sympathy. Gad, how wrong is that? Maybe she has Etsy admin snowed. Maybe they think she’s some poor little mistreated thing.
Did you ask admin why they removed your feedback? Hey was yours the one that had the f-word in it?
    I loved that one!
It lasted about 3 days, then *poof* gone with the wind.

But gardensecrets/sparklepeach/dearestclementine/etc AND gardenOFsecrets/twiggarden/wicopy/etc are different people right?

  49. hagwithmorals December 19, 2010 at 8:44 pm #

Here’s a link that sparklepeach started on artfire not too long ago trying to get sympathy (all filled with lies of course). People are still posting about what a theif she is there too.

  50. kitten December 19, 2010 at 9:11 pm #

EquisiteSecrets said on the ArtFire thread:

WTF? Are we just on some kind of Old-Thread Hunt?? Geez! Did you read the OP date! If you wanna say something, say it. Throwing up outdated threads is not only ridiculous as hell because of the confusion it can cause, but it also makes you look stupid!

Well if this moron EquisiteSecrets would of actually READ the thread before sticking her big foot in her yappin’ mouth, she would of known that the thread is still current, the OP is continuing to open new shops and STEALING from customers.

So EquisiteSecrets, going off on uncommonvintage when it’s apparent you’ve not read the entire thread or know anything of the back story makes you look ridiculous and stupid (not that you need any help). Clueless arrogant bitch.

  51. hagwithmorals December 19, 2010 at 9:26 pm #

  53. losinghope December 20, 2010 at 5:09 am #

    From the Artfire link:
Someone claims Sparklepeach has opened yet another shop on etsy today…BeadGlories!
What do you think, is it sparkle???
If it is, this gal has brass balls!

  54. wondering December 20, 2010 at 8:24 am #

Well, the person who made that comment on the ArtFire thread is incorrect – they have 2 different people mixed up (which is not hard to do at this point!)

The FIRST person has/had all these shops: Twiggarden / Elvendale / Glenamara / Wicopy / Threedollarearrings / Greengages / Beadwitches / Fairythimble / Lindengate / Saffron (on Artfire) / GardenofSecrets / BeadGlories / LaCachet.

The SECOND person has/had all these shops: peaches4me / sparklepeach / dearestclementine / gardensecrets / YarnTickler (and there is one more that I just found for this person, but I have to dig up the link for it again)

These are 2 different people with all these shops. The person who made that post on ArtFire needs to correct their post.

  55. imwithya December 20, 2010 at 11:05 am #

Yes, I thought they were 2 different sellers but it is confusing since one is GardenofSecrets and the other is gardensecrets and they both have opened multiple shops to sell their jewelry and keep screwing over customers. They should get together and form a collective! Think of the damage they could do as a team.

Maybe that person on artfire can edit their post… wouldn’t want to falsely accuse one horrible seller of being another horrible seller. :p

  56. 1come1n9eace December 20, 2010 at 11:40 am #

I’m thinking we need 3 different threads. 😀

  57. sick of cupcakes December 22, 2010 at 5:46 am #

I guess we know the secret that is in everyone’s garden is that they are an asshole.

  58. Whoa December 23, 2010 at 5:05 pm #

GardenSecrets has racked up numerous negs since this post went up.

I checked out the Youtube video made by Xtina whatever and what’s odd is she is not the same person who is in Kristin Purcell (aka Peaches4me, SparklePeach, DearestClementine, and whoethehellever else). The pictures on Etsy for both shops are exactly the same, which makes me wonder, if the person does not appear to the base, is GardenSecrets stealing Kristin Purcell’s pictures?

    Here is the Youtube video:

This is Kristin Purcell (SparklePeach, DearestClementine)

  59. imwithya December 23, 2010 at 9:59 pm #

OMG you’re right Whoa. It just keeps getting more convoluted. She’s obviously going to bail on her GardenSecrets shop so I wonder what she’ll name her next shop. DenOfLies?

  60. Whoa December 23, 2010 at 10:15 pm #

That’s just it…I don’t think she is GardenSecrets. I think GardenSecrets is using her photos. The woman who posted the Youtube video is not Kristin Purcell. If you notice the bad feedback listed for GardenSecrets, most of those are for pictures that SparklePeach, DearestClementine, etc. was using.

I think this Christina person swiped her pictures and is claiming to be selling those items…since no one is receiving them it seems highly likely that this is what has happened.

In either case, this whole web of lies is full of nutters.

  61. Nicole December 24, 2010 at 1:48 pm #

I think gardensecrets is someone either related or friends with Sparkle Peach. This gal doesn’t look smart enough to come up with a cunning plan to rip Sparkle Peach’s pics… very strange indeed, but I think it’s more than likely that Sparkle Peach is involved in that store somehow.

  62. wondering December 25, 2010 at 10:07 am #

I have to agree with Nicole, at this point I do not think SparklePeach and GardenSecrets are the same people, but I do think they could be in “cahoots” together with all these shops somehow – butthen of course, this person could have just “made up” the other person or stolen their identity. I’m getting a headache just thinking about it all.

I watched several of the videos and came to that conclusion, but of course it could all be just a made up bunch of lies, which is what it probably is.

This is the other shop of Christina/GardenSecrets that I found last week – it was opened on Dec 5, 2009 and was active up until Aug 2, 2010 – this shop was probably kept in “reserve” but looks like it was deactivated abruptly after only 9 sales:

  63. FormerEtsyBuyer December 25, 2010 at 9:06 pm #

Oh boy! YES, something very odd is going on with sparklepeach and TheLovelyWhimsy. I remember reading sparklepeach’s complaint in the forum about “someone stealing her photos and descriptions” and it was TheLovelyWhimsy who she was accusing at the time. Here is that thread, and although she doesn’t mention that seller by name in the forum, I searched at the time and saw who she was talking about (sparklepeach made it VERY easy):

If you look at TheLovelyWhimsy, she’s from Ohio with a birthdate of April 11—the same as gardensecrets. Also, TheLovelyWhimsy was selling those same crocheted things as YarnTickler as well as jewelry.

So there is definitely some sort of “connection” there. I mean, this is MORE than a coincidence:

    – Sparklepeach claimed that TheLovelyWhimsy “stole” her pictures—now is she going to claim that gardensecrets “stole” them too?
    – There is NO way that gardensecrets has stolen pictures from Kristin Purcell—her newest pics on etsy were re-taken, with the same (distinctive looking) hand with the same rings and sometimes the same window in the background.
    – By looking at TheLovelyWhimsy’s feedback left for others, that person bought crochet supplies but also TONS of jewelry supplies—the same types of lockets and charms and chains that sparklepeach uses.
    – It’s also the same behavior of opening different shops and then selling things and taking money but not mailing pieces to customers.
    – Is Sparklepeach in cahoots with this other seller (meaning, is this a relative) or are they the same person?

I don’t know what sort of game is going on there. But there are just too many coincidences and to me that says it’s the same (disturbed) person.

  64. ohmeohmy December 26, 2010 at 12:21 pm #

gardensecrets is sparklepeach. She just talked about copying to confuse everyone and it has enabled her to open shop after shop, using the same pics.

Wait a bit and you will see another shop pop up with the same pics, hands, etc.

  65. ohmeohmy December 26, 2010 at 12:23 pm #

And thelovelywhimsy is also her. She’s a maniac.

No one would be stupid enough to copy someone AND use their pics. That’s her hand with those rings.

  66. Whoa December 26, 2010 at 12:25 pm #

So how is it that one is posting videos on Youtube and is an entirely different looking person? Perhaps they are in on the scam together, but the person in the video is not the same person who is Kristin Purcell.

I think it’s highly probable that they are scamming together, but I certainly don’t think we should rule out that one scammer is being scammed by another (having her pictures stolen).

  67. Whoa December 26, 2010 at 12:58 pm #

Sure about that? Look at the Youtube video I posted a link to. Christina is advertising these items on Youtube under the Etsy shop GardenSecrets. Look at her other videos. Look at the Facebook account I posted the link to (which was posted the last time SparklePeach was called out). It is NOT the same person.

Do they have some sort of relationship, I don’t know…but I do not believe that this is the same person.

I tend to agree with you. I think the copy thread she started was only posted because either a buyer actually did alert her to the same photos and items or it was nothing but a TVP.

Who knows if either of the people in the videos are Kristin Purcell, or if that is even her actual name. Whoever opened all these shops is obviously certifiable, not to mention a crook, but I believe there’s only one person involved.

  69. samguine January 31, 2011 at 6:42 am #

Had to get my money back from Missindie via an escalated Paypal claim for 4 hats I ordered when the 45 day limit was nearing. 3 orders I never received and paid for them in Ocotber (it’s not January of the next year.) So I filed a non-delivery report and left negative feedback about how I never received my items and Missindie goes ahead and trashes my feedback when I am an excellent buyer and I paid for my items immediately after purchase. How immature and unprofessional. Etsy is a scam. I can’t believe they allow this to go on.

  70. samguine January 31, 2011 at 6:45 am #

it’s now January of the next year*
haven’t had my coffee yet, woops!

  71. FormerEtsyBuyer February 26, 2011 at 8:28 pm #

No one “stole” anything from SparklePeach/Kristin Purcell (or whatever her real name is)–she probably got emails alerting her to “theft” so she posted that bogus cry for help in the forums. You know, just like she did over at Artfire. Why would anyone believe anything that woman says? She’s a proven THIEF who has STOLEN lots of money from lots of buyers, over and over!

She has SO many different aliases and shops. I’m even sure she has another shop currently on etsy, filled with the same items with the same hand holding jewelry wearing the same rings, but different pictures and SLIGHTLY different photo backgrounds. I’m not going to name names though–I found her, so anyone else can too. And one of the “models” in her etsy shop looks eerily similar to the woman in the youtube video. Her daughter perhaps?

I finally got my refund from Mandy Ferrugia (missindie)

I had to contact the Attorney General of Missouri, and now they have a permanent file following her.

Sydney, you’re my idol! So glad you got some retribution… and in the bargain you stuck it hard to missindie. *applause*

  75. Whoa April 1, 2011 at 10:07 pm #

  76. Christina April 2, 2011 at 4:40 am #

Just to clear a couple things up. This IS gardensecrets. I am NOT Kristen/sparklepeach. I have admired Kristen’s work all the way back when she was peaches4me. I had a lot of the same supplies and items that sparklepeach had for sale in her shop, and yes I did copy her photos for a couple of her items. And yes, I know it was wrong. At the time that I opened gardensecrets, I didnt have a camera and had to take my photos with my cellphone and the quality of them was terrible, there would have been no way that anyone would have bought anything with such terrible photos. But I know that does not justify copying another person’s photos and hard work. It was wrong, and I am sorry. But I AM NOT KRISTEN! THANK YOU! I do not even know her personally at all. I’ve never seen her, e-mailed her, never spoken to her in any way at all.

Now, with that cleared up, let me explain the gardensecrets issues. Back when I opened gardensecrets in October (right before xmas rush started) I had no intentions whatsoever of ripping anyone off, as you would have seen in the feedback I received when I started. I actually loved making things for people that made them happy. But, (here’s the part that’s difficult to explain),I don’t have my drivers license and my boyfriend lives about 30 minutes away from me. We only see each other a couple times a week, because he works swing shift: days for a week, afternoons for a week, then midnights the following week, and I have to be to work at 6am, So for example on the weeks that he works afternoons or midnights, a lot of times i don’t see him at all for 4 or 5 days straight until either of us has a day off of work. Anyways, when I started gardensecrets, I made the mistake of moving all of my jewelry supplies and everything for my etsy shop to his apartment, thinking that I was going to get my drivers license soon so that I would be able to move in with him. I also had no idea that I was going to get as many sales as I got either. But by mid to late november I was getting so many orders a day that I wasn’t able to fill because I didn’t have access to my supplies. I wouldn’t have access to my supplies for 4 or 5 days, and in those 4 to 5 days I would get around 50 sales! Then, either my boyfriend or I would have a day off and I would go to his apartment for ONLY a few hours, until he had to take me back home. NO ONE would possibly be able to make, and get 50 items ready for the post office in only a couple hours. But I know that I had no business opening a shop being so unorganized and unprepared. I should have either A.) took my supplies back home with me, but that would have still left me with issues of getting to the post office the way I should have, without my license. or B.) Closed my shop until I got my drivers license and was able to move in with my boyfriend. I do truly apologize to the people that ordered from me and didn’t receive their item”s”. I am still working on paying off my etsy bill and my paypal bill. I hope this clears things up. Cheers.

  77. Andrew April 5, 2011 at 4:28 pm #

Hi everyone! I am the owner of LuxeJewleryBox, and I can assure you that I am not Garden Secrets or sparklepeach. And I will not rip you off. I am a very fair bussiness man. Although I do realize my pictures look alot like those others for some reason. But please do not confuse me with the other two shops! Thank you!!!

  78. Henrietta April 5, 2011 at 5:27 pm #

Wow Andrew, you sure found this blog quickly! Good luck with your shop!

  79. Whoa April 5, 2011 at 6:24 pm #

The shop is empty already. I guess someone realized we’d caught on. As for saying you don’t understand why your pictures look a lot like the others…I’m calling bullsh*t because they are exactly the same. This is only one of the many images that have either been stolen or this is Krisin posting under a different name (again). It’s too bad you can’t remove the sold items. I’m sure another shop will be open soon. At least have some common sense and re-take the pictures.

Seeing the same IP- Last time “Andrew” posted here he called himself Christina AND SAID THEY WERE GARDENSECRETS! See his/her post here:

Lie much? Too bad IP addresses call your BS.

  81. Megan April 6, 2011 at 2:21 pm #

This is so awesome! I love it when people think they’re so smart…”I’ll just post twice under 2 different names, and assure everyone I’m not the same person as the original scammer.” Yep, almost got us.

  82. ohmeohmy April 6, 2011 at 3:42 pm #

That post from “Christina” is total bull. She said she did not expect to get 50 orders per day.

But see, I wanted to figure out how this shop has such booming business, even if it’s new and what I found out is her “secret” to success.

She renews her entire store (whichever one it may be) several times a day.

If she knew she was getting 50+ sales per day, she would have stopped renewing and put her shop on vacation to get caught up.

Her stupid way of renewing actually works! If she renews 100 items 3x a day with an average price of $15, if she sells 6 items per day, her renewing has been paid. Minus her cost of materials, which look cheap, and etsy fees she is still definitely making a profit.

  83. em April 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm #

you hit the nail on the head, ohme. It’s pretty much impossible for someone to open up a shop and instantly start getting 50 sales a day with just an average amount of listing and renewing. I’ve checked it out too (because I was also curious) and noticed that there was a crazy amount of renewing.. making all this intentional.

  84. Lisa April 6, 2011 at 9:36 pm #

  85. thisetsychick April 6, 2011 at 10:31 pm #

LOL @ Andrew and Christina! IP addresses never lie, do they? How humiliating!

  86. Andrew April 7, 2011 at 6:45 am #

Look The post from Christina was me. I was trying to defend her. I cant actually believe how cruel you people are. Calling people liars! Christina is my ex girlfriend and she ran those shops. She departed from me suddenly and left all of her supplies and I saw how well she was getting sales on Etsy so I thought I could do the same. I had no idea what she was up too. I used the same pictures as what she had saved on my computer not realizing that they were stolen from other shops! I am currently in the process of retaking all of my pictures so this confusion wont happen again. But I can also assure you that Christina was and is NOT! Sparkle Peach. She copied those pictures from that website and used them on hers.

  87. etsycallout April 7, 2011 at 8:23 am #

    We’ll play along.
Why would you defend an ex-girlfriend that departed from you suddenly?!

  88. ohmeohmy April 7, 2011 at 8:44 am #

Even if you were given the benefit of a doubt “Andrew”, like anyone would buy from a person who has impersonated someone else plus used stolen pics???

We all know who you really are and I do hope people who got ripped off would file with the State attorney for a class action suit against you. It’s totally illegal and fraud what you are playing. I hope you go to jail, taking money and not delivering.

  89. hagwithmorals April 7, 2011 at 9:12 am #

What a f@#$%ing crock of bullshit! Andrew/Kristin, do you really believe ANYONE is stupid enough to buy that story? I think you’re nothing but an immoral, pathetic, thieving, lying cheat and I hope you get everything that’s coming to you.

  90. Whoa April 7, 2011 at 9:24 am #

We’re cruel because we called you a liar?! You ARE a liar…and a thief! I’m not buying this ex-boyfriend crap because if she left you and you aren’t living together then your IPs would not be the same. DUH!

As for you not being Kristin (sparklepeach), I know you are not and I have stated this previously when the Youtube video surfaced. However, you were dumb enough to steal the pictures once and bring negative attention to yourself because of sparklepeach’s crappy business practices. Surely you aren’t dumb enough to think that the community has forgotten what she did and the number of people BOTH of you scammed? Did you think that no one would notice when another shop opened with her pictures? We’d all still believe that sparklepeach was back if you hadn’t posted here with your pathetic sob story (and I am sure those are lies too). Did you honestly think people would let it go if you said you had problems in your personal life? If that’s true then you have no business to even attempt running a shop until you get your crap together.

  91. booboo April 7, 2011 at 10:23 am #

And is the Artfire account for GardenSecrets one that your former gf had set up, or did you create that after she left, using her photos? Same model in the photos on each site, and very similar items.

  92. Whoa April 7, 2011 at 11:48 am #

Many of the Artfire pictures are the same as what was listed on Etsy and later taken down. This account shows the last check in was a week ago, so it’s obviously been updated since the original Etsy shop was taken down in December.

This looks like a very deliberate effort to steal from people once again.

  93. booboo April 7, 2011 at 12:45 pm #

Now this could be a complete coincidence, but earlier when I viewed LuxeJewelryBox’s circles, they had LuxeYarnDesigns in their circle, and the real name of that shop owner is Andrew Jenkins. When I looked at their circles just now they are no longer in each others. Seems very interesting that LJB is Andrew/Christina, LYD is someone else (?) named Andrew, and on the bio for the GardenSecrets Artfire shop (Andrew/Christina) there is talk about how much he/she loves yarn and is always knitting or crocheting.

As I said, it could be a complete coincidence that LuxeYarn’s owner is another Andrew, or perhaps it is just one more alias to open another business under.

  94. Megan April 7, 2011 at 2:20 pm #

Oh, and both “Kristin” and “Christina” happen to live in Ohio? Riiiight.

  95. Whoa April 7, 2011 at 2:23 pm #

No, Kristin Purcell (aka SparklePeach) lives in Texas. That’s not an assumption, she was reported to Tax authorities in Texas a couple years ago for operating without a business license and failure to pay taxes. I don’t know if that was an unfounded complaint or not, but she was also involved in a law suit against the woman who was doing it and was listed in court documents as residing in Texas.

  96. Whoa April 7, 2011 at 2:24 pm #

LuxeYarn is probably not a coincidence..it’s Christina/Andrew. The Artfire shop has sections for fiber goods and she/he list this as a hobby. Good catch, I’m sure this is another good shop to watch for stolen pictures and scamming.

  97. Megan April 7, 2011 at 2:32 pm #

Oops, it appears you’re right – I could’ve sworn it said Ohio on her Etsy page. I stand corrected!

  98. FormerEtsyBuyer April 7, 2011 at 8:08 pm #

Christina has a new youtube channel, “ChristinasCrafts”, and she talks about all her crochet work and directs people who are interested in buying her knitted things to visit her facebook page, also called ChristinasCrafts. NOWHERE does she mention any store on Artfire or Etsy. Why’s that?

Sparklepeach (who lied about her identity when she opened other etsy shops, and who repeatedly lied about her “headaches” and other excuses for stealing money from buyers) has claimed in the forums that etsy seller “TheLovelyWhimsey” stole her pictures and descriptions. Now Christina has stolen them as well, and is still using the stolen text/pics on Artfire and no one has gotten her shut down. And now “Andrew” has also stolen her pictures and text. Does anyone really believe any of that? This is like the Etsy version of “Sybil”.

And I remember when Sparklepeach (or was it Peaches4me?) posted on ECO and tried to make excuses for not mailing packages to buyers, and then was busted for opening yet another shop, etc. etc.

So is her IP address the same as Andrew/Christina’s?

  99. ohmeohmy April 7, 2011 at 8:43 pm #

I remember either reading something she had posted or maybe it was on one o0f her videos on youtube which is gone now, but she said she moved to her mom’s and I think that was when she was in Texas and Ohio was where she lived on her own and i think she’s back there now.

I also think sparklepeach and gardensecrets are the very same person.

I also saw a video she had posted where she asked her viewers what they thought of her new idea (this is when she was only doing yarn stuff)of making jewelry by copying others and making her stuff better and cheaper.

  100. FormerEtsyBuyer April 8, 2011 at 5:39 am #

I just wanted to add a couple of things I’ve wondered…

Why would all these other etsy sellers copy from sparklepeach, and yet not just copy from someone like, say, oh, etsy seller “forevermorecreations”? Because forevermorecreations not only has many of the same items (such as the bunny earrings, various lockets, flower rings, and the identical flower bangle bracelets) but she also even names items the same–such as the “Librarian Locket” with “kitschy cat eye glasses” (yet they’re not really cat eye glasses, just oval). And oddly enough, forevermore seems to live in NW Ohio. And many pictures of forevermore holding items and her hand looks so very similar. Look at forevermore’s hand picture where she’s holding her “Vintage Brass Enameled Rose and Green Glass Necklace” and she even has 3 rings on her middle finger, just like sparklpeach (and Christina wears in her videos)… So why wouldn’t Christina “admire” forevermore’s pictures/descriptions and copy her?

It’s just an interesting coincidence to me.

  101. me April 8, 2011 at 6:14 am #

This is Sparklepeach here. A couple of things, then I’m done.

First, Peaches4me was my first shop – I never pretended it wasn’t. I was going through a nasty divorce and my soon to be ex’s name was on the business stuff too. He would not let me buy him out, he insisted on selling. So, I sold the assets of the shop locally. I had already opened Sparklepeach (disclosed, even discussed with admin), but it did not have any value at that time, so the ex left it alone. And it grew.

Forevermore is also a copy cat of mine. I have no idea why so many people copied my work. I guess the supplies were obvious and I was doing well, so they did it. I am over it.

I never lied about my headaches. I spent time in the hospital, that is all true. But I was barely making it before that. I was running behind. I fucked up, plain and simple.

No excuses. I no longer have any type of shop online because at this point, I do not have my shit together. I gave money back – thousands of dollars. Again, it was because of *my* fuck up.

I have never had shady business practices, just foolish time management and flying by the seat of my pants with no real contingency plan. Very stupid of me, I know. But I never intended for any of this to happen.

I’ve learned a lot from this. It has been terribly embarrassing, I have gotten a bad name, and my online business is no more. Those are very serious consequences for a very bad business plan.

And those are my images Christina is using. She has admitted it before. I just don’t care anymore because no venue seems to want to do anything about it, so I have let it go.

We are absolutely *not* the same person.

  102. etsycallout April 8, 2011 at 6:55 am #

Andrew/Christina is in Ohio, Sparklepeach is in Texas. The link that we linked to was a comment from Christina from Gardensecrets.

Just for the record one of the photos luxejewelrybox stole from anirtak:

  103. ohmeohmy April 8, 2011 at 9:19 am #

This is getting more and more convoluted. There are a handful of very big selloers who sell the same jewelry as Kristin and Christina.

Many of the photo shots are similar.

I am starting to think all of them copy one another.

I don’t know if Kristin is telling the truth because she had her earlier shops 2009 I think and many of these shops have been there as long, so who can tell who is copying who.

Maybe sparklepeach is telling the truth. Then Christina in Ohio is the copier and photo stealer. Because she did said in the now gone youtube video this is what she planned to do in the first place—COPY!

I agree, Kristen Purcell and Christina do not look alike. One is a lot younger.

Sparklepeach, were you also dearestclementine? Or was that Christina?

Etsy really needs to look into the CC info, ip info, address, etc. Christina says she is living with her boyfriend, so most likely she is using his CC.

Otherwise, I cannot figure out how she is opening all these shops.

If Kristin Purcell only owned 3 shops and is no longer selling, she might want to write a blog to clear her name so she is not associated with this crrok Christina.

Again, I hope people who were affected do contact the Ohio AG about a class action suit. This stuff has to stop!

  104. ohmeohmy April 8, 2011 at 9:23 am #

And Kristin, did you make good with all the customers you let down?

  105. Andrew April 8, 2011 at 12:57 pm #

This is the last time I will post here, this is ridiculous! christina and I do not have the same IP addresses. I posed as her to defend her. She is my ex girlfriend and I don’t want false accusations going around about her. she never “lived” here. She works in another city and does not have her drivers license. So she only stayed here when she was off from work. Other than that she lived with her grandmother so her mother could take her to work every morning, because I work swing shift and was rarely able to take her. I helped her make most of her jewelry, and quite enjoyed it. After her shop was shut down she wanted to sell all of her supplies on Ebay, but never got around to it. When we broke up, I asked her if I could keep her supplies so I could give etsy a shot, I only used the pictures she had saved on my computer. But I can assure you all that I truly had no idea that the photos I was using were stolen!! How would I have known? I am quite embarrassed, and sincerely apologize to Kristen. And to whoever else she stole from. I’m still trying to get this mess sorted out with Etsy.

  106. ohmeohmy April 8, 2011 at 5:37 pm #

And in the youtube vids someone just psoted about, christina (cristinascrafts)siad 3 weeks ago, she moved into her boyfriend’s apt. So this “Andrew” is her and it’s all bull. She’s trying to open another shop luxeblahblahblah and rip people off again.

Plus I am sure she has already opened a crochet shop too.

I hope etsy is thorough this time.

  107. ohmeohmy April 8, 2011 at 5:44 pm #

  108. Andrew April 8, 2011 at 5:48 pm #

Although this is none of your business, christina left me for another man, so I’m sure she probably is living with him by now.

  109. hagwithmorals April 9, 2011 at 1:15 pm #

This just gets more and more pathetic with every post from these scammers. Amazing how not only the shop photos, descriptions, and shop policies were copied but the SHITTY customer service was too! Lie, lies, lies – that’s all these explanations are.

  110. 1come1n9eace April 9, 2011 at 1:30 pm #

This is riveting! I am thinking of writing a screenplay about the immoral ins and outs of etsy businesspeople. Would welcome suggestions for a good name for the movie/ miniseries.

She is using new photos and opened this shop today.

  113. ohmeohmy April 9, 2011 at 2:40 pm #

I found the mother lode. This is Kristin purcell’s flickr page which has all of her photos–A lot.

So you can compare these with any of those big sellers of her type of jewelry on etsy to find if she has any shops. She seems to be a much better photographer than christina.

  114. Whoa April 9, 2011 at 5:38 pm #

Wow!! The dates on that Flickr account would certainly indicate she has set up shop somewhere. We just need to find it.

Also, the items listed in the WhereJewelsBloom shop are different than what Christina/Andrew had posted in the Luxe shop…I’d be willing to bet those are stolen from other sellers.

  115. Andrew April 9, 2011 at 6:30 pm #

Congrats! You have found my new shop! And you are more than welcome to keep your eyes on it! I love having support! =)=) Just an FYI though…this is Andy. I’m not sure if Christina has another Etsy shop or not, we’re barely in contact anymore. ohmeohmy, I know my photos aren’t very good. I have a “decent” camera though. It’s the Canon PowerShot. 14.1 mega pixels, but there’s so many different settings on it, etc, and I’m still trying to figure them all out, and I also need to get better lighting figured out. lol I take my photos on my large windowsill, but it’s been raining and cloudy the past couple days. Hopefully I’ll get this dang camera figured out soon so you all will have awesome photographs to look at! =) Good luck to all in finding Kristin! Toodles! =)

That shop on Cargoh is old. I forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it up so I can close it. I only listed a few items there when there was a bunch of talk about it a long time ago.

And the Flikr account is nothing hidden either. I have not set up shop anywhere. Those compilations of my photos over 2 years were used as a portfolio for a photography job that I applied for (and got).

I do not have anything online anymore. I consigned locally some stuff that I made from my excess supplies.

Now I work for a company. I know that I am not good at the day to day business stuff. I will not do it again.

  119. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 3:35 pm #

I guarantee you 99% of these Etsy Nazis are sitting behind their computer screen right now searching Etsy trying to find you. Oh how disappointed they’re going to be when they find out that you are no longer a part of Etsy. Oh what ever are they going to do?? Looks like they’ll have to get their entertainment from someone else. You almost have to feel sorry for them. I mean seriously, it’s obvious that their only source of entertainment comes from trying desperately to find innocent sellers on Etsy to pick apart. How pathetic. Yeah you fucked up. But so does everyone. You apologized, Christina apologized, what more do they want, they just take the same old thing and they keep dragging it on, and on and on and on…come on guys, let it die and get a damn life. Geesh!

  120. ohmeohmy April 10, 2011 at 4:08 pm #

It’s not about apologies but renumeration. It’s not about lies but legalities.

You’re not Andrew unless you’re into not only jewelry making but also crocheting (what a talented guy).

Christina, donate your crafts to your local women’s shelter instead of opening shop after shop and ripping people off. I hope this time the Ohio Attorney General gets you good.

  121. Whoa April 10, 2011 at 4:22 pm #

Andrew, you have a choice to respond or ignore it.

Kristin, I’d highly suggest that since you have your photography job that perhaps you should make the Flickr account private. I’m sure that once this blows over again Andrew/Christina will start using your photos again. At the very least you’ll be somewhat protected from people passing their jewelry off as yours…and no longer the object of speculation once they appear on Etsy again.

  122. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 4:25 pm #

Actually, Etsy asked me to send proof that what I was selling was handmade by me. And I emailed Etsy step by step pictures of me crocheting my mary jane house slippers. Would you like me to email them to you too? I’d be more than happy too. Give me your email address please.

  123. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 4:29 pm #

And actually I knit, scrapbook, and cross stitch too. And I’m even currently learning how to work a sewing machine. There’s nothing wrong with guys being crafty.

  124. ohmeohmy April 10, 2011 at 4:33 pm #

That’s just what Christina said on her most current vid on youtube ChristinasCrafts

She does all of those crafts and is just learning how to use a sewing machine. If I didn’t know better, Andrew, I would assume you are twins. And perfectly matched as a couple too. ”

A couple who crafts together, lasts together”.

  125. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 4:44 pm #

Wow, sounds like you’re her stalker, is your life seriously that pathetic that you have to cyber stalk former etsy users? WOW….that’s all i have to say…but anyways, like i said before, give me your email address and I will send you step by step pictures of me crocheting my mary jane slippers.

  126. ohmeohmy April 10, 2011 at 5:02 pm #

What’s pathetic is ripping off innocent people. Disgusting.

  127. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 5:21 pm #

Are you dyslexic hun? Didn’t you read what I wrote about Christina the first tine I wrote on here? She barely had access to her supplies, she never intended for her shop to go up in flames the way it did. Before we broke up, she was almost threw paying off her debt to he customers. She even cried to me because she felt so badly about the whole situation. What you guys don’t seem to comprehend is the fact when someone opens a shop, example peaches4me, sparklepeach, gardensecrets, etc, all of their feedback for a while is always 100% positive. So if they really intended to rip people off then how in the hell do they manage to get happy customers? Hmmmmmm??????????????????????????

  128. ohmeohmy April 10, 2011 at 5:25 pm #

You don’t seem to realize that there are no second chances for thievery. No excuses for taking peoples’ money and not delivering the goods they purchased. Highly illegal, morally disturbing.

  129. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 5:35 pm #

So you must be the only person in the world that’s perfect and doesn’t have life issues or mishaps? Boy, I wish I could shake your hand. Kristen payed her customers off, and Christina was almost completely done paying her customers off as well, so what’s the issue here?

  130. ohmeohmy April 10, 2011 at 5:44 pm #

Morally bankrupt. Sociopathic/ antisocial behaviour. Get a clue.

  131. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 5:58 pm #

Um Yeahhhh… So you’re saying that both kristin and christina are both sociopaths and antisocial? Wow, and you have a PhD in psychology too??? Holy hell, I must be talking to the world’s greatest person ever!!!!! wtf are you talking about??? I think you might have a slight case of psychosis sweety. You don’t know them or what life situations they were going through during the time their shops spiraled out of control. EVERYONE has life issues that temporarily paralyzes them from accomplishing one thing or another, and the fact that they made it right with their customers should be commended.

  132. wondering April 10, 2011 at 6:32 pm #

@ Christina a/k/a Andrew – do you *REALLY* think for one second that a single reader of this blog believes a word of your BS?

You have told so many lies that you probably have yourself believing them at this point!

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive”

  133. thisetsychick April 10, 2011 at 6:43 pm #

What do you bet that “Andrew” is related to Kristin Purcell? How would “Andrew” know if Kristin paid her customers back or not?

This just gets more and more strange. Keep it coming. This is highly entertaining.

Do men really use the word “toodles”? Yuck!

  134. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 7:23 pm #

If you’d be bright enough to scroll up a bit and read what kristin said, she said she paid her customers back thousands of dollars. Geez, it amazes me how some of you are capable of even operating a computer.

  135. wondering April 10, 2011 at 9:04 pm #

thisetsychick, I wouldn’t doubt it that they are related somehow – especially since they all have such “high standards of business practices” …cough…cough….

But, we really should not tease “Andy” about using the word toodles – “he” might get his britches in a wad! but then, of course “he” could whip up a new pair using “his” newly found crocheting skills!! and while “he” is at it, he can crochet a few cowls for owls too.

    k, gotta run… TOODLES everyone 🙂

  136. Andrew April 10, 2011 at 9:45 pm #

Please tell me what proof do you have that I have bad business practices? I received 8 sales on LuxeJewelryBox, and I convoed each one of them right away, thanking them for their order, and telling them that I would be contacting them again with their tracking number as soon as I shipped their packages. (which are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) I also included a free pair of earrings, and a handwritten note to all of them. Then as soon as their items were shipped I would convo them back with their tracking number. So you REALLY need to get a clue about what your talking about.

  137. thisetsychick April 10, 2011 at 10:16 pm #

wondering…so true, so true! I’m sure “he” is an excellent crafter/seamstress/jewelry maker/crocheter/business person/male/female/boyfriend/girlfriend.

“Andy” is there anything you can’t do?

Here’s my guess on this situation, and stay with me people… I think Andrew and Christina are the same person (duh!) and Kristin is somehow related (sister/SIL/something) and they are completely in this together.

Another giant DUH, all shops start out great. Raking in the dough, then low and behold a health issue/transportation issue/kid issue/unexpected blah blah blah issue comes up and WHAM suddenly Kristin/Andrew/Christina are just too busy to fill orders. But guess what? They aren’t too busy to keep their shops open and they aren’t too busy to keep relisting daily. Interesting, isn’t it?

Along comes our fair little Andrew. Same items, same photos, same everything. Co-inky-dink! It’s amazing. It’s a Christmas miracle, folks!

  138. wondering April 10, 2011 at 11:04 pm #

Well how about that! All of a sudden **poof** ChristinasCrafts YouTube channel was deleted. Ahem….wonder why?????

Now we have Christina’s Etsy shop, WhereJewelsBloom stating in the shop announcement:

“You can also find one of a kind knit and crochet items at my other shop LuxeYarnDesigns”

So now we take a look at her other shop, LuxeYarnDesigns and all of a sudden there are all the items that Christina was showing in her videos on the ChristinasCrafts YouTube channel (which is now conveniently deleted). All the coffee mug cozies with the big buttons (that she was showing off in another video about her huge button collection) And she has listed those cute little bunny slippers that she said she hoped would not sell because she loved them so much.

But…but….but how can this be??? “Andrew” said this is “his” shop and he had nothing to do with Christina?????

LOLOL what a crock! Christina, do you really think everyone is THAT stupid??? This is just beyond pathetic.

  139. Theresa Furey April 11, 2011 at 2:36 pm #

I don’t sell on Etsy but I buy from there… I am a photographer so I often buy lots of props and sometimes items for myself. I don’t understand why people just don’t subtly watermark their images if you don’t want someone else stealing them? This will eliminate a majority of the stealing as most of the people who are too lazy to take the pictures themselves or buy the images wouldn’t be able to afford photoshop to remove a watermark! Just a thought!

  140. Andrew April 11, 2011 at 8:08 pm #

I just opened a new shop on Etsy! Good luck trying to find it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  141. thisetsychick April 11, 2011 at 9:22 pm #

“Andrew” you are too smart for us. Unfortunately for you, Etsy admins do read this site. Since you’ve been so forthcoming with your “new shop”, a quick IP check will expose you.

    You’re such a genius.

  142. booboo April 12, 2011 at 3:39 am #

So you’ve now had GardenSecrets on Etsy, which closed. Then you opened a shop by the same name on ArtFire (BTW, who is running that, you or Christina?) Then you opened LuxeJewelry on Etsy, got 8 sales then closed it, then on the same day you closed it you opened WhereJewelsBloom, plus somewhere in there you opened LuxeYarnDesigns AND now you claim to have opened yet another shop. What is the purpose of opening one more shop, and why would you close LuxeJewelryBox so soon, especially when you were getting sales there?

  143. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 5:17 am #

Etsy admin can read this, that’s fine, there’s nothing in their rules that states a user isn’t allowed to have 3 shops. =)

  144. thisetsychick April 12, 2011 at 6:57 am #

No, there’s nothing against having 3 shops. That’s true. But it is against Etsy TOUs not to DISCLOSE all your shops in your profile/policies.

I do have a question though. You can’t successfully run one shop, how in the world do you plan on running three? Or is it just three times the amount of customers you’re planning to steal from?

Did anyone notice that Kristin Purcell’s Flickr account is now private?

Gee, I wonder why that is…

  145. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 10:22 am #

What proof do you have that I cannot run LuxeYarnDesigns, or WhereJewelsBloom? Hmmmm????

  146. 1come1n9eace April 12, 2011 at 10:32 am #

I agree with etsychick. Etsy doesn’t prohibit a seller from having multiple shops. (as stated, as long as it’s noted on seller profile)…
However….. I think there’s something in the *fine print* about actually having to deliver delivering the to the buyer. *smirk*

    They should charge asshole tax.

  147. 1come1n9eace April 12, 2011 at 10:38 am #

that should have said “something in the fine print about actually having to deliver product to the buyer.:”

  148. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 11:20 am #

What proof do you have that I’m not delivering? Hmmmmmm?????????????? You guys are hilarious!!!

  149. ohmeohmy April 12, 2011 at 11:31 am #

You don’t see the harm in “borrowing” pictures. You don’t realize the harm in “non delivery”.
You don’t see the harm in “impersonating” someone (your boyfriend or a fictious man named Andrew, Kristin from Sparklepeach).

You are incapable of having a conscience. You go after stuff for yourself and it doesn’t matter who you screw.

You cannot teach a sociopath to have a conscience. So no one can stop you really.

I seriously doubt you have another shop.

If only your customers could read what you write here, I doubt they would buy from you.

You sound really fucked up and nasty.

  150. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 11:35 am #

Please, please, PLEASE, show me one picture that is stolen. and please show me proof that I have not delivered anything. EXACTLY, you’re unable to. I think your best bet would be to let this topic die, and find someone else on Etsy to pick apart and be delusional about.

  151. ohmeohmy April 12, 2011 at 11:45 am #

You jewelry luxejewelry shop sales are nothing but stolen pics. You were garden secrets and ended up with a horrible feedback rating because of all the non deliveries.

You’re not Andrew but probably using his credit card–stolen most likely too.

Etsy can check your IP at any time. I am sure they have record of all your previous shops and Ip. The whismy shop, the yarn tickler, and all the other ones.

All anyone has to do is to list all of them and send to etsy, asking for an IP test.

Then link admin to this thread.

Or a buyer could get your address.

  152. ohmeohmy April 12, 2011 at 11:47 am #

If you fuck up again, people will not be so easy about stuff since you now have a history. They will go after you with the attorney general, so better stay on the straight and narrow.

  153. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 11:49 am #

Yeah, and like I told Etsy and you all, my ex who was Christina was using my computer to run her stops. But I wasn’t standing behind her shoulder, and had no idea what she was doing. I have already discussed all this with Etsy. Etsy can also read all of the convos that I’ve had with my current customers thanking them for their orders, and giving them their tracking numbers.

  154. ohmeohmy April 12, 2011 at 11:54 am #

How do you explain all your crocheted items are what Christina showed on youtube?

Stop the Andrew bullshit. You may have convinced etsy, but all it takes is one very detailed email with pics and links, and you’re out of luck.

Cross your “t’s” and dot your “i’s” cuz people will be looking at your shop with a magnifying glass to protect buyers from scams.

People like you are the ones who give etsy a bad name, you freakin crook.

  155. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 12:00 pm #

Like I said, you’re more than welcome to keep an eye on my shop”s”, but I’m very afraid that after a while of seeing positive feedback you all are going to have to find someone else to feed your addiction for delusional drama. 😉 Toodles!

  156. ohmeohmy April 12, 2011 at 12:04 pm #

You’re all of the drama and none of it is delusional but facts, so knock it the fuck off, you goddamn leech.

  157. thisetsychick April 12, 2011 at 12:30 pm #

You are so whacked “Andrew”. I’m scared FOR you.

  158. 1come1n9eace April 12, 2011 at 12:44 pm #

I don’t know of any man in this world who would willfully use the word “TOODLES”.

  159. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 1:15 pm #

Well you guys also said you didn’t know of any man that knows how to knit, crochet, etc either. =P haha

  160. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 3:10 pm #

Wow!!! LMFAO! Google analytics just showed me how pathetic you people really are! hahaha! Over 75% of my visitors to my shop everyday are returning visitors! Geezus guys, you really need to find something else to do with your time! So sad, and pathetic. ROFLMFAO!!!

  161. 1come1n9eace April 12, 2011 at 5:06 pm #

    April 8, 2011 at 12:57 pm #
This is the last time I will post here, this is ridiculous!”

    Twenty-two posts later……

    Someone here loves drama!

  162. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 5:13 pm #

I’m only responding back to what is being said about me, if you all would drop it, so would I. Because as of the moment you all have no proof that I am doing any wrong in any of my shops, and with you all going on and on AND ON with no proof of wrongdoing, shows that you all love your drama!!

  163. 1come1n9eace April 12, 2011 at 5:20 pm #

Andrew/whomever, please just go tend to your shops, your customers and your customer service, and don’t you worry about a thing. We’ve got your back.

  164. thisetsychick April 12, 2011 at 5:36 pm #

Yes, “Andrew”, we’re here for you. 🙂

  165. Andrew April 12, 2011 at 5:54 pm #

Good to see you guys are finally supporting the good sellers of Etsy!!! :):)

  166. Maul April 12, 2011 at 10:17 pm #

    Wow. Just wow.

  167. Andrew April 13, 2011 at 3:11 pm #

Yay! 12 sales in 3 days. Oh how disappointed you all are going to be when I start getting positive feedback. Oh how terrible I feel to disappoint you all. 😦

  168. 1come1n9eace April 13, 2011 at 3:21 pm #

Andrew, I truly hope you do have your shit together now, and I *do* hope you have nothing but positive feedback. Now go sell some stuff.

  169. Andrew April 13, 2011 at 3:27 pm #

    Thank you 1come1n9eace. Sincerely.

  170. 1come1n9eace April 13, 2011 at 3:34 pm #

Hang in there, learn from your mistakes. It’s the best experience in the world, and it’s free. Good luck. I mean that too.

  171. Judy Jingles April 15, 2011 at 7:51 pm #

sparklelee might be the new shop on etsy

  172. Andrew April 16, 2011 at 3:47 pm #

I don’t think so Judy, unless she completely changed her whole style and is starting REALLY small. Because she has the skill to sell a lot more than that shop has. But…ya never know I guess.

  173. Andrew April 16, 2011 at 3:51 pm #

But then again, I’m just going by the jewelry that I seen on her Flickr account (when it was still public).

  174. Judy Jingles April 18, 2011 at 8:20 pm #

I never saw that account. She probably has several accounts.

  175. Andrew April 26, 2011 at 4:50 pm #

Yay! I just reached 50 sales today with no negative feedback!!! : D..hmmm I wonder why that is??

  176. Andrew April 26, 2011 at 6:26 pm #

Hey guys…check out miaomiaook. Just opened shop today. Those shades don’t look very handmade to me.

  177. Andrew April 26, 2011 at 10:15 pm #

Well that was quick. Miaomiaook is already deactivated. One sale. I just hope that customer gets their sunglasses. :/

  178. Andrew May 8, 2011 at 10:23 pm #

Well would you look at that! Over 100 sales in my first month, with NO negative or neutral feedback, and no non-deliveries hmmmmmmmm…. I wonder why that is? Who’s laughing now? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  179. Andrew May 8, 2011 at 10:31 pm #

Okay, I shouldn’t have said that like that. I didn’t mean to be cocky or arrogant, but you people should have believed me when I told you all you had nothing to worry about.

  180. ohmeohmy July 2, 2011 at 4:53 pm #

‘Christins’s shop wherejewelsbloom has been on vaycay for quite a while and now a negative. Wonder what’s up.

I am sure she spent over a $1000 renewing every day for almost 3 months. Plus listing fees, paypal, etc. Not much profit so maybe she closed?

  181. Whoa July 2, 2011 at 8:04 pm #

I see she’s back to using stolen pictures again as well. Many of the pics in the sold items are Sparkle Peach pictures.

  182. ohmeohmy July 19, 2011 at 7:14 am #

Another negative! And shop is still on vacay. Wonder how many sales were “actual” sales and how many were shills?

  183. FormerEtsyBuyer July 26, 2011 at 3:50 pm #

Wherejewelsbloom is now gone as of this afternoon, after getting several negs and neutrals (down to 97% positive) about non-delivery. Her yarn shop, LuxeYarnDesigns, is currently “on vacation” but she’s only sold 1 thing there.

  184. FormerEtsyBuyer July 26, 2011 at 3:56 pm #

Oh, I forgot to mention that in case anyone is worried about WhereJewelsBloom (Christina, or her other personality “Andrew”) thinking that perhaps something happened to her…I’m sure she’s fine. She just ripped people off, as expected. She checked into her youtube channel 5 days ago. It’s here: http://www.youtube.com/user/XtinaMarieOxo#p/a/u/0/FcFWoWJSBYQ
She did make all her videos private (like the one where she’s showing off her crochet work, and talks about her etsy jewelry store).

  185. ohmeohmy August 6, 2011 at 9:52 pm #

They are not the same people. Sparklepeach takes really great photos. Wherejewels uses different components. I think the mannequins are made of painted styro so that’s why all the dents and dinks.

  186. thisetsychick August 8, 2011 at 12:06 pm #

    Take a closer look.

  187. Jillian September 3, 2012 at 3:03 pm #

There are also image suppliers that sell high quality printable images to use in your etsy creations. If you’re looking for inspiration or a new source of material, some of these images aren’t very expensive, like http://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageRetroAntique
