It’s been brought up in the comments —

Laurie/Laura/Lollie Park has had ALL of the following Etsy shops: (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (no longer exists) (still there and strangely the negative feedback has disappeared) (just now got closed)

And now she’s opened as Lollie Park.

Her MO — she opens a shop, renews like hell, negatives roll in (to which she leaves hateful retaliatory negs), she empties the shop and opens a new one.

She cancels orders without letting the buyers know (see most recent beadglories feedback) and refuses service to anyone who buys what she deems to be “too many” items because she doesn’t participate in wholesale (but how can it be wholesale if the buyer isn’t getting a wholesale discount?!).

Now, this has happened AT LEAST 12 times and someone at Etsy has manually gone in and deleted 9 shops, so they are aware of her. So how is this allowed to happen over and over and over?

I’ve flagged Beadglories daily and have included ALL of the info down below.  How can Etsy admin NOT see what’s going on here?

Wow, that is a whole lotta crazy! People always talk down about ebay in the forums! Fact is, with well over 1000 transactions on ebay, I’ve received every single one of my items without opening one single PayPal claim.

On Etsy out of under 200 purchases, I’ve not received one losing $65.00 and also had to open three additional PayPal claims to get my purchases.

It’s a shame to see this. I bought from her when she had the “wicopy” store 2 years ago. I purchased 10 earrings as stocking stuffers and did receive them so I have no complaints there.

I actually saw the “threedollarearrings” store and thought that it was the same seller. She uses the same images and all.

It’s sad to see that this can happen over and over again on Etsy. Hopefully this store gets shut down before she is able to scam people again.

The only reason I can think of for Etsy allowing this person to open shop after shop is the amount of renewing she does.

The keys to being buds with Etsy admin are 1) renewing and 2) slavishly following Etsy’s trend guides in all your participation in community features (listings, treasuries, forum posts, feature comments, etc.). You can give poor customer service or even be a reseller if you follow Etsy’s party line.

I’ve been flagging this shop for the past three days to no avail.

Their site — — gives info on how to become a reseller of their ipod/ipad skins.

kitten- Same for me. I’ve bought hundreds of items on Ebay over the years and have received them all. I’ve purchased less than 100 items on Etsy and have had to initiate several paypal claims because the sellers didn’t send my items or respond. I rarely buy on Etsy any more because of these problems, plus too many poor quality handmade items and things reeking of smoke. Ugh. I want to support Etsy sellers but so many ruin it for the rest.

I think because it’s so easy and cheap to use Etsy it attracts all kinds of unprofessional sellers and scammers. But who knew handmade fashion jewelry would be a category so rife with scams? Sad.

As usual I find myself hoping that Etsy has something up their sleeve to get rid of resellers and repeat scammers in 2011! I know in my heart that they don’t but I still have hope deep down inside. Pathetic I know.

She also had the following store at one point:

I actually have several pairs of her earrings (bought back when she was wicopy and threedollarearrings) and I love them. I quit buying when I noticed her shady practices, though, and read some of the feedback she left for buyers. I’ve flagged her shops and sent emails to etsy. Nothing.

It’s been interesting to watch her operations. She will put her shop on vacation, even giving a date of reopen and almost immediately open up a new shop. The old shop never gets reopened and is eventually deleted.

Ugh, that stinks. I love the firefly lantern earrings but won’t ever buy them now that I’ve read this and know who this seller is.

I remember reading a rant or two from wicopy in the forums about how much buyers suck and she’s been a stand-out beastly seller for me to stay away from since then.

One point for slime, negative 50 points for integrity. Boo.

I remember wicopy…. some really crazy forum posts and feedback.

@jenn – the workmanship on those firefly lantern earrings is crap. I’m sure you could get some absolutely LOVELY, well-made earrings from a great jewelry maker that would make you just as happy… not as cheaply, but better workmanship.

    Is this her again?

It sure looks like it Pox.

She’s back on etsy again, as of 4-13-11

Wow, tracker, well done! I noticed the name “ellerue” wasn’t included…this seller is definitely “ellerue”.
