Here’s a big list. I’ve been saving up (and waiting months for Etsy to do something about the flags and emails).
Pocowai is selling brand new plastic toys from Japan, not even trying to pretend they’re handmade. A typical description:
1. 100% New. Never been used.
2. With original box and toys still in the sealed bag (Never been opened).
3. This miniature set is made by Re-ment (Japanese Toy Co.)

And now, some Hobby Lobby resellers.
MiamiExpressionArt is reselling several items from craft stores as if they were handmade. For instance,
“All my items are made in the US and make for a great gift :)” No, they’re made in China and Taiwan.
MiniatureMenuSupply is a little more honest.
Her listing for 4 plates (“They are not handmade.”)
Hobby Lobby’s listing for 4 plates and silverware:
Her listing for 3 pans:
Hobby Lobby – 4 pans
RoyAltis – another shop reselling miniatures from Hobby Lobby – though her profile talks about coming from eBay, so she probably thinks etsy is just another venue to sell whatever you want. Easy to see how people might think that these days.
Another reseller shop: awesomeminiatures
” Each item is handmade individually with care ” – Yeah, in a factory.
Identical sewing machine from Hong Kong:
Finally, GardenBarn‘s “handmade” miniature garden items can be found in shops over the internet. After several flaggings and queries, Etsy has responded that they’re “working with her.”
