I’ve reported this shop hundreds of times and of course nothing gets done. I don’t have time to look now, but in the past I found almost all of their “handmade” wooden magnets on Ebay. They’ve also got tons of commercial supplies listed in the handmade category.

    “Retro-chic”. Uh, what?

    Here is the Boqinana site:

They do wholesale. The About page mentions only one person. I have my doubts.

Here are the butterfly metal magnets:
    supposedly handmade by River.

Score! Under boqinana’s handmade housewares there are a bunch of listings showing packaged items under the brand ‘design pub’. Here an item for sale on Ebay, using the same photos as boqinana:

She claims to make these herself? Ebay sellers listing design pub items say they are Korean!

Same set, on same card, same maker, on AliExpress:

Same set, on same card, for sale from Singapore:

it looks like these have been changed to supplies?? there are no more handmade tags on them?

LDW, you have mad skillz! Looks like etsy coached them instead of shutting them down. Nice.

Hey LDW, let’s see what you can do with this shop. Call me crazy, but I am guessing the jewelry and fake nails are being resold. The shoes are neither vintage nor authentic.

The Nail Tip Rings are the new hot item! Forget the owl and the peacock. , maybe this is her Ebay store:

    But wait, there is more:

    and from
Where “… more can be made rather quickly.”

  11. luisamila December 9, 2011 at 6:26 am #

    My mistake, forgot

Don, nothing is real handmade in that shop, even the scarves. Anyone who knits or crochets would not list the materials as “thread”. They are also neither “infinity” nor “circle” scarves.

Those nail rings scare me! WJW, Luisamila, Etsy should be able to find all the nail rings being resold. The staff at Etsy should be aware of the latest trends — even if old school sellers like me are not — because that is part of what site integrity (not to mention marketing) is all about. Staying on top of this stuff should be in their job description. If we can find the items, they can, too.

And, yeah, the peacock thing is kinda over.

fynal pynk, the entire store is wholesale mass produced items, etsy pretending they don’t know about these things really makes them look like idiots!!!! hey we make 40 mil a month and are too stupid to know whats going on!!! whatever……..I LOVE this call out site because generally if it shows up here they get shut down, there are exceptions but alot of them go away!!

That fingernail armor scares me, too. This is niche marketting? OY.

    Check out this seller’s feedback:

lolivia, I think RoseBudLips may have been called out before for feedback but it is amazing that Etsy would want them operating with such bad service. I hope this reminds buyers to always check feedback b4 buying.

Etsy Vigilante, Now there is a second rosebudlips shop opened:

And I’ve seen this call out on another blog recently:

Why doesn’t etsy do something to protect brides from people like this?
