craftlittlethings is a blatant reseller! She claims she is the designer of the wedding dresses on her website, if you read all of the wedding dress listings – she says she’ll make it in a regular standard size, but if you want it altered, you have to take it to a tailor to have it altered. If you are making it why can’t you make it to fit?
Most of “HER” dresses can be found on the website below – too many to list them all. BY the way, I convo’d her, she told me she is the designer and handmade the dresses you see in the photos, she makes a ton of them and says she is back ordered that I better hurry up and order it now – (but wouldn’t give me a straight answer on why she can’t do custom) and she works for a bridal boutique (how convienent).

her 100% handmade dress that SHE designed

the shop in China that actually makes the dress

Also she loves to resell clutches

online (various sellers) http://www.shopadilly.co.uk/Auctions/peacock+bag

pretty much everything in her store is NOT handmade by her- (possibly the 3 bridesmaid /prom dresses may be made by her) but the wedding dresses NOT!

What do you guys think about this shop?

forum thread:

So..First if you read this, check out MY feedback to see that I am an excellent member of etsy with over 600 transactions under my belt, almost all of them as a buyer, which means-I am a good buyer. Now, about this seller: first, she has absolutely no clue what etsy is all about, she solves her problems by ignoring her buyers, I have been unhappy with the poor quality of this necklace and contacted her only to be ignored about 4 times!!!!! Without a doubt, the worst customer service on Etsy that I have ever seen (and again, I have been here for a while, and I shop a lot).

This necklace has been returned to this seller and all I asked for was a refund, not even one that included shipping, I paid the shipping both ways. She keeps ignoring me until right now! SHE HAS BOTH THE NECKLACE AND MY MONEY, which is basically stealing. This is the worse transaction I ever had on Etsy, all for a necklace that is way over priced for it’s poor quality(and I have bought this kind of jewelery before). Both paypal and etsy have been informed and I will keep warning people about this seller in all of my online activities(blogs, etc). If you want over priced poor quality jewelery and to be ignored if you have a problem with the transaction and be made to feel like YOU ARE NOT A HUMAN BEING, THIS IS THE GIRL FOR YOU!
So sweety…you might have won this one, good for you! $25 more in your paypal account, but you will never make it as a business women with your horrid attitude, not to mention as a member of an honest and caring community that is Etsy.

“BEWARE!! Might be the craziest person on the internet!! Makes false accusations and lies!!! So beware!!!!”
“Sent incorrect item/No exchange received”

FEEDBACK GIVEN BACK: (not to mention one of them was a cancelled transaction)
“Seller beware of this buyer! Leaves negative feedback saying never received item for auctions she didn’t pay for.” (AUCTIONS?! They’ve been on Etsy since ’05?!)
I know we will always get the people that will want to say that is “not that bad” but we feel that sellers that give crap customer service and then leave negatives and try to cancel transactions give Etsy a bad name so they get a buyer beware.

They’ve been on Etsy since the end of December 2009, but only started selling 2 months ago. Suddenly they’ve made about 140 sales in 2 months.

They’re claiming they’re experts at leather craft and even make a statement in their shop announcement that their items are not stocked or mass-produced. Anyway I have found the same items on a wholesale site online:

The product on Etsy:

Wholesale site:

Also, there is no way this is handmade:

and besides, I found the original product for sale :

They’re also selling these iphone cases, which are made from moulded polycarbonate:

I highly doubt that so called experts in leather craft and jewellery making are also able to cast moulds and do polycarbonate injection.

It seems to me that they’ve been on Etsy since the end of December, researching how to make their shop look as though they’re not re-selling, by giving it a cutesy logo and filling out their profile to make it seem as though it’s just 2 people (husband and wife) hand-making all these things.

I just think it’s unfair that they are allowed to remain selling on Etsy, especially at this volume, when they’re clearly getting their products on a wholesale site for around $10USD a piece and then marking them up.

Here is one of the resellers recently targeted by the sock who left negative feedback.

She whined in the forum thread that she just had a few supplies mistagged & claimed to make her rings.

here are some interesting identical photos:

Note her “handmade” rings are only available in one size, yet she sometimes has sold multiples. If they are handmade, can’t you make more than one size per type of stone?

also, some of the pendants are available from the same eBay sellers, & she hasn’t changed the tags to supplies yet as she promised she would. (Although a silver druzy one has been removed since the call out)

Compare the listing

sold by ethaimarket
One of several items bought on 7 October by eBay user lyudmylam2006
Lyudmyla?? No kidding!
Lyudmyla paid $38 for a necklace and earrings set on eBay, and is selling the necklace for $115 on Etsy.
Looking through ethaimarket’s feedback you’ll find at least one more batch purchase made on 29 September. I didn’t go back further in time.

Reseller- ivancupid

This guy is a repeat offender. He opened a shop last year where he sold graphics that he stole from a graphic artist. He sold one item, you can see it in his sold section. He was shut down. He has now reopened and is selling the modern version of a Chia pet – the “Little White Man’. Not his handmade, vintage, or supply….it’s resale. You can see it here: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/216199005/Little_White_Man_Grass_Doll.html

He is a total reseller. None of the trunks and boxes he is selling are authentic vintage either, they’re 100% reproductions – I can go buy them right now at my local TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I’m sure with a little hunting any of us could find them online as well.

The Jewelry Downward Spiral

Fonth drives me crazy! Beautiful pictures and the jewelry even looks cute (cheap cute but still cute) but no way…no way is it not mass produced. It’s embarrassing that Etsy lets him stay there when the proof is as easy as this:
RedTeddy on Etsy sold this: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=17292862
Fonth has it here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29251232
Fonth also has this bracelet: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28785500
which looks a whole lot like this one from ThaiSterlingSilver:
ThaiSterlingSilver has this necklace: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_11&listing_id=26548846&ga_search_query=red+necklace&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_7022981 which looks an awful lot like the one that was sold on BenWorldHandmade: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=16814194
BenWorldHandmade doesn’t have anything listed now, but when they did, they had this: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=17150212 which, although made in different colors, still looks a lot like this bracelet by InfinityJewelryClub: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29806989
InfinityJewelryClub also sells this necklace: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28818197 which looks almost identical to this necklace by Fonth: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_9&listing_id=29388489&ga_search_query=green+necklace&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5953890

These suppliers have items that look really similar to what the Etsy shops listed above are selling:
http://cgi.ebay.com/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280380048407 (this ebay seller used to have an Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6196400)

When they were called out the first time, this blog was pretty new. I definitely think they could use a second call out. And speaking of “no way did you make that” turquoise rings, this shop has been bugging me for a long time: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=29274168
